Cabrio: PS rear 1" lower than DS rear

New to me 2002 M3 cabrio.

Passenger side rear sits 1" lower than driver's side rear (measured ground to fender). I assume it's a broken spring, but is there anything else I should be looking for?

    Thank you.

    Missing/destroyed spring pads
Mix-matched springs perhaps (even stock springs vary model to model - they have color markings)

I ordered new 5mm spring pads and springs (Lesjofors 4208487). Hopefully no surprises.

Did you get cabrio specific springs?

Replaced the rear springs and swapped the standard 5mm upper pad for a 14mm. Car sits perfectly level now, even fender gap all around. Couldn’t be happier!

Awesome i have the same issue on the coupe, thanks for posting

I thought it was the RACP that causes the raised side due to blown spot welds etc

                Check your RACP as well

What way did you install the springs? tighter coils on top?

Yes I did tighter on top. Couldn’t find a straight answer on what is correct so I went with that.
