Interestingly, your file/folder structure is exactly like bagger's, both completely different than mine. I'll try cloning your folders and hope it works. IDK.
    No prob, good luck!

Update - so I've got three sets of files from other members, thank you, but all 3 are completely different than what I have. As a test, I formatted my card and loaded it with the data from someone else, but I edited their serial#.txt file with my serial #. No dice, the machine didn't even turn on lol.

So I re-formatted it, and loaded back my data and the tool works again.

I was in a mood, so rather than open up their bmw.bin file (largest file by far) and try to pull out the G series cars' specific files (if even possible), I emailed ECS/turner and complained that their tool, that was advertised as being able to receive lifetime updates, can no longer be updated per Foxwell customer service. Luckily, "Melissa" was very pleasent and after a bit, her supervisor authorized an exchange for a new post-2023 model scanner (replacement)

So if you find yourself in the same predicament (have a schwaben scanner bought in the 2010s and have a new G series car), I would recommend contacting ECS/turner.

If that doesn't work, and you want to fiddle with the files, I'm holding on to a set, and can share if needed.

Just to close this out, I received the latest tool from ECS and I can see that it does look slightly different from my older one. And the files/folder structure on it matches the samples I got from others, and is not like that of my older scanner.

I confirmed it has G series cars in it, so I'm good to go now on my X7.

The displays look is different as well, no longer black & white; it has color and looks slightly different.
