    E46 m3 CCV nonsense

    Probably a dumb question, I have never seen it asked before.

    e46 m3 up to 04 have a regular crank case breather hose. 05-06 have this dumb breather hose with an inline motor or so it seems. I have an 05; the hose has gone brittle and snapped.

    Can I revert it back to the pre 05 with simple hose or is there more to the story?

    Just trying to save a bit of money if I don't have to spend 200usd for emissions related crap

    On the old forum there was a thread on how to delete the PCV sucking jet pump on newer model S54s without a CEL. Anyone happen to have that info? I believe it required patching out a setting in the bin.

      You can use the 05 fuel rail and cap off the hose point IIRC, but it'll look kinda ugly.
