Don't think for a second I was saying it was too much, or not worth it.
I know what it takes to build a motor at that level, like Chris said they don't even have much overhead built into it. The parts themselves are what causes them to be so pricey.
I totally get it.
Doesn't make it any less eye watering when you think about how much it'd be to actually get a running version into your car.... You still need a clutch and flywheel, spark plugs, header, intake, yada yada yada... if you were to just say "put a stroker into my car" I could see it cresting 40K easy. And someone willing to spend this kind of money is doing it right, so probably well into the 50s.
The kitchen remodel will have to wait indeed.
