An update with these BW mounts.
Firstly, I have to say they are great mounts in keeping that naughty S54 in one place whilst giving it some beans. However, like I mentioned before they do make the whole car vibrate on the heavy side when idling.
Swapped the poly Revshift street tranny mounts for OEM rubber ones - and it reminded me how crappy OEM mounts really are and didn’t make a big dent in the NVH dept. So, I swapped back to the Revshift mounts.
I found keeping the rpm at about 1,000rpm while sat in traffic made a huge difference. So, with ECUWORX’s cable and program I raised the idle from the stock 870rpm to 950rpm and voila, I can finally relax, chill and hear the S54 sing.
