3k all-in with PPF and painted rails. I provided all of the parts, right down to the coat hanger brackets.

Oh, I do have a nice (albeit, old) side by side of the Z4M seats vs standards. Had the Z seats reupholstered with Impuls Cloth to keep the spec correct. They are much better than the OG sofas.

ugh, where'd you source the Impuls cloth? I'd eventually like to do that with a set of Cobra's if I can't get the Munich's, but I have never seen that cloth supplied by anyone

I bought a set of rear seats for $100 as donors. Nobody is making Impuls to my knowledge, so I had to go old school.

I never thought much of the cf roof until i saw one in person at a meet. Now its seriously on my mind.

Anybody know a good reputable shop for install around New York (or at least east coast?)

                    Wow, turned out great LSB4Me.

I'm still in the search of a non-sunroof headliner, but that's my last piece of the puzzle and I've passed by so many for sale over the last 5-6 years.

LOL I have Z4M seats in my S3R and I'm local.

Great minds think alike, the stock seats are so garbage lol

Roof looks awesome, Kevin is a good dude. I will probably have them refresh the front end soon.

Dude, so garbage. Great minds, indeed. The Z4M is the minimum acceptable oe seat, imo. The fact that it’s plug and play power (so my pup can easily hop in the back) with heat made the swap a no brainer.

Speaking of Kevin at ABS (good dude for sure), I have a new photo to offer bigjae46 . Rest assured, we’re all just getting teasers at the moment.

In your other post it looked like they were able to cut off the roof and leave the metal sunroof frame in place, did they end up removing it and welded/bonded in a non sunroof crossmember?

That was an “in progress” shot. The front section comes out.
