IHKR - Has anyone tried to do the downgrade climate controller knobs?

This is a project I’m interested in taking on, but I want to make sure it’s actually feasible. I tried using the IHKR controller, but some of the functions didn’t work properly. While the A/c worked , the function to adjust the fan position wasn’t working. I think i have to change out the whole blower behind the dash, which i am willing to do so when the euro dash.
Has anyone accomplish this retrofit?

Man, brought back all the old feelings of panic and bewilderment going through that.

I wonder if he died. Both his Turbo thread and his M5 thread went silent at the same time, 5 years ago.
