Market is pretty insane on those too these days from what I see. I think I'll probably go with a T for 'now' (or an S if the manual comes on those this year as rumored) and then step up to a GT3/T if I ever get an allocation

Doctors and 911s, a rite of passage 🀣 Now for the divorce and alimony payments.

I'm kidding Terra, its awesome you're at a place you can buy what you want within reason. I remember when you were in school (at least I hope I'm right and it was med school, pretty sure).

Haha yeah it's been a long road but been an attending for a few years now. Though can't get divorced if I'm not married (hopefully sooner than later, but I'm also ready for a 911 in my life lol). It is definitely very annoying that the P-car market kinda went nuts as I came into the position to start playing

            Congrats on making it through.
New 911 prices for a T or S are easily 170-200K. For that price or a bit more you could get a 997 GT3 or 991.2 GT3. The GT cars will hold value as you've seen. The best time to buy one is - now. Lol.

I would suggest finding a GT3 to drive before you go buying a T or S.
The experience is - totally - different.

To OP, lots of good thoughts already. I'd say keep it simple - if owning the car still brings you joy then keep. If not sell. The amount of miles driven shouldn't be the deciding factor IMO. If logic ruled then no one would own 20+ year old cars.
