I've been tinkering with a friend doing my alignments and he uses one of these small square digital level gauges with a magnetic base. Just stick it on your rotor (which is parallel to the hub) and we've found that it's pretty dead-on accurate to an actual camber gauge.

It's magnetic, so when ECS had a sale on this:

I picked it up. Makes measuring camber and caster a breeze.
Instead of that fancy Schwaben tool, you can get creative with boxed steel from your hardware store. Take about a 19-20" section (measure your wheel), use some bungee cords to hold it in place (strap it to the wheel vertically), attach the level. Done.Build thread: Topaz Blue to Shark Blue
