    It exits right at the top of the rear window where the shark fin and window gasket overlap. There shouldn't be any hole in the roof. Even if you remove the antenna, you can buy new foam tape to reattach it: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...e/84508021110/

      Does anyone have the part number for the blank trunk plug for where the wire goes in?

        There's no hole in the roof. The wire goes under the trim where your finger is.

        The only potential for car damage is too much heat from the heat gun, or not enough, causing you to dent the roof. You need just enough to soften the adhesive.

          Man, quite the discussion on this lol. It's just tape lol, quit over thinking it. I was surprised how easy the tape came off once the fin was off (maybe because I had done the B-C pillar trim the day before lolol). It's super easy just warm it up or park in the sun for an hour and pull it off. I had great success twisting/rotating it (not rocking) clockwise and then counter-clockwise a few times.
