How many LSB interiors are there?

The other day I was thinking “How many LSB interiors were ever made?”

Theres 2 sets for sale currently in the entire world, and I’ve only seen a total number of 3. I did some research but I haven’t found the answer. Some people said around 100 were made for the entire world. Any thoughts or ideas that could help me find out this answer? It would also be interesting to know how many kiwi, estoril, white, and royal blue were made too. Thanks.

Probably more than it seems like from a US perspective-- they were only a hidden/Priority 1 option in the USA. In other countries, it was like ordering any other interior.

The rarest blue interior is prob estoril. One of the OG m3 members (tdc/Tom Chang) had an 06 alpine white over estoril back in the day, which looked awesome. Unfortunately I believe that car was totaled after he got rid of it.

It's hard to say when the total numbers of each are so low, but, I've seen many pictures of esotoril interiors in actual cars, whereas I've never ever seen a royal blue interior installed on any car.. I only know it even exists because there's one for sale on ebay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEU-BMW-E46...75.c100623.m-1). I really love that color. God if I were rich...

I’d think white would be more rare than estoril. But estoril is very rare as well.

Yes, vin WBSBL93436PN64284, his car as an awesome spec! He actually leased it and returned the car to bmw when the lease was over, the 2nd owner got in some sort of accident and it was totaled. I found that car on coparts and bid to try to buy it because I wanted the interior, but it ended up going for more than my reserve, and I didn't think it was worth what it went for. I have some pictures of his car somewhere.

Why wait until one shows up? With all of the (justified) lust after all of these rare interior colors, I would think that prices, if they ever did show up, would be on the level of $4k+, and probably still wouldn't be completely "brand new" in terms of wear. I'm surprised that more people don't step up to have a good quality leather supplier just make a custom batch to re-do their interior -- is it wrong to assume that doing this would be, roughly, similar to $4-5k in cost? If I were going to spend that kind of ballpark money on an interior, I would definitely much prefer brand new leather than even lightly used BMW leather. I guess the people who custom wrapped their Nogaros from the old m3f group buy would know if the cost is comparable...

I’m guessing the interior would be between 3-5k depending on condition. There’s something about having OEM BMW nappa leather rather than getting it done after market. If the interior is brand new or very low miles, I could see it going for 5k. If see any cool sets for sale, comment them here! There’s a kiwi, royal blue, and lsb on eBay currently.
