I drove the car today and turns out I was tripping, I can totally see the hood from my seating position after all

Maybe I can see the hood, I'll pay attention next time I drive the car. Also cluster visibility may be impacted by the angle that I like to have my steering column at. Having my hands be comfortable is more important to me than seeing the gauges, since I'm shifting by sound anyway and never really look down on track (except to check temps).

My helmet kinda hits the window frame if I'm moving my head around. And the steering wheel blocks the view of the top of my tach and speedo (which bugs the shit out of me).

On the track car I would prefer the current seating postion, but in traffic I just don't like sitting that low.

Just PM'd you. I have an R-9222 I would like to sell.

I think you'll be real happy with them then!

Having mine slightly more reclined is way more comfortable for me. Downside is that backseat access is even worse, and it was already bad.

Ha. Being 6'4, at least in the morning, actually fitting in a car for the first time in my life is one of my favorite things about these seats.

I've since put these mounts in on the driver's side, and been playing with the different hole options. Starting with the highest hole in the front, and two holes down in the rear was actually too much recline, and too high up in the front for me. Now I've settled on second from the top on the front, and third from the top in the rear and am much happier than I was with the nogaro-specific mounts. I also sit at imo a much more reasonable height.
Fucking A, I'm grabbing a set of these ASAP, tired of sitting on a folded up towel.

The R-9223 will indeed work with the Nogaros. These can raise it up to 1.25” above the Nogaro specific brackets although, it does lose most of the rake at max height. Attached is a screenshot comparing the two with the Nogaro specific brackets being transparent and outlined in yellow. The way the brackets are arranged, that third rear mounting hole from the top is the lowest it will go, without some possibly excessive rake, before the forward mounting pattern interferes with the seat.

My kid still goes in back.
