Sales tax on ECS orders

Verify your sales tax on your ECS orders. All my orders for this year was being taxed at 8.75% but should be 7.25%. I had a $1138.69 order in January and was taxed $99.64. I've had other orders up to yesterday with the same error. Pointed this out to ECS and they immediately refunded the mistake. EDIT - they credited my last order to make up for the taxing errors.

Simi - I've seen a car with your exact setup once on the 101, while I was in my 'Burby and the other time was on the 23 and I was in my 4th-Gen Mustang 'vert. Both times tried to give the thumbs-up but driver was concentrated in driving straight This has been over a year or two. I don't think he's around anymore but IIRC "HitApex"?? lived in Moorpark.

Hmm sounds familiar. I rarely drive the car, esp on freeway and never really the 118, maybe the 23 a little. There are a few guys out here. Mostly tiag smg 'verts with guys in their 40s/50s otherwise

Ha! Good catch, Turner got me for $10 extra on a recent order. Charged me 7.3% when it should be 6%. There's actually no place in PA where the tax is 7.3% so that's strange in itself.

Wait. I'm kind of confused.. I Live in Washington state. ...Should they NOT have charged me?** I've contacted them as my area tax would be 8.8% and they have been overcharging me since it started.

That's confusing but it's two items in one line. First one is "Exempt: NO" meaning you're not a tax-exempt customer (reseller, non-profit [lol]). Second one is WA State Sales Tax: $11.06.

Seems like they're charging 10% flat, which is the rate outside Seattle I think? 10.1% in the city, 10% outside, then it goes down from there. Their tax rate lookup database seems to be pretty bad.

In my case no issue. 6% for Michigan
