I have a full set of specialized tools for the Beisan Vanos upgrade.
    • OEM Camshaft Alignment Bridge w/1 Pin (83300493749)
    • OEM Flywheel Locking Pin (83300490861)
    • Craftsman 24mm Combo Wrench - just barely thin enough to fit on the cams, most 24mm wrenches are too thick
    • Craftsman 9-47412 Retaining Ring Pliers
    • Beisan S54/S62 Vanos Rattle Tools
These are basically all the tools needed in addition to basic hand tools to install the full Beisan Vanos upgrade, including the anti-rattle kit.

2 week long rental with a $200 deposit via PayPal. Renter will receive refund of $160 after all tools are returned in clean, undamaged condition. Buyer pays actual shipping cost via USPS both ways (approx $10-15 each way).

I can also rent out the tools separately, and charge a reduced rental fee based on what you need.

fwiw, front bearings are easy. You'd need tools for rear. Also, Our hubs are an assembly with bearing, not like other BMWs necessarily. You buy the whole FAG assembly.

Rear main doesn't need a special tool with the updated part number. Comes with a plastic sleeve that is used as the tool.

I was hoping to not buy the 115$ "kit" including the seal pre pressed in the housing. I have a rms already and was going to reuse the housing. Are u sure i dont need the tool to press into the housing?

Ah not sure about pressing into the housing. I'm assuming you could get it to work without the special tool, but you would need to find a way to drive the seal in perfectly straight.

To install onto the crankshaft you definitely don't need a tool. Take a look at this: https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...covers/BB058mu

Hey man, how much to rent the Cam alignment bridge with pins? I need it to install cams.

Let me know, not sure if I'd need anything else beside the bridge?

PM'd on the cost. Not sure if you need any other tools for cam install though, I've done cams before but not on this motor.
