Old m3forum content, you want it?

I tried to to recreate the old forum with Claude about 18 months ago referencing wayback machine archives. It got pretty far in creating an exact replica looks wise with all the archived forums and threads showing but only a handful would pull up. I gave up as the token count was racking up trying to fix it. But what worked was really cool.
With where the models are now I think you could use Claude code or codex to do it much easier now. Feed it everything you have and tell it to cross ref with wayback machine.

Just read Jared's entire thread. Jeeeesus. Can't wait to see his old activity on M3F.Originally posted by liam821 View PostJared update. I asked chatgpt (no joke) "What was the kids name that owned an e46 m3, he used to post on m3forum before that site went away. I think he ended up buying a porsche 911 turbo. He was the laughing stock of the forum and it was hilarious. He posted on rennlist as well." and wouldn't you know it...

Definitely bring it back, maybe merge users on a case by case basis? I mean if someone sees their old thread they could just point it out to you and then merge? Best of both worlds with the least amount of work?

Definitely worth bringing back as a read-only sub forum. Its a lot of work, though it seems. Grateful for whatever can be made avaialble.

Rose colored glasses. Most of it was shite, but nonetheless, cool to see the shite.
