3k is too much. Even $1800 is too much but I would pay that.

A few days ago my order status changed to "boxed" and today the status changed to "shipped" however I have not received a tracking number yet. Looks like these trunk lids are FINALLY getting out to us over a year later.... Thanks covid...

If these trunks return to production, which I doubt, what happens to the pricing? Will we see sub $1200 pricing again? Or has this forever changed the cost.

If supply increases prices will drop all-else-constant. It's certainly possible that if more units flood the market more buyers will show up which will reintroduce upward pressure on prices. It's tough to say, the uncertain factor to me would be demand and how many people still need these things and would be willing to buy if prices were lower.

The shipping date of 6/9 came and went yesterday with no update from ECS. The order status is still showing "picked." I will update here when I get another update from ECS.

I didn't, I paid $1189.95 from an order placed May 14th 2020.

Got a price alert from ECS Tuning as well. It's at $3048 for the lid.

The price is crazy, this morning it was $4049 but looks like they have lowered it by $1000.

My order at ECS has changed from "status: product inbound" to "status: picked" so I think these trunk lids are finally getting caught up in production and getting shipped out.

New shipping update email from ECS just received. Shipping date scheduled for June 9th with a recieve date of June 14th-16th. ECS is also showing the trunk lid as "in stock."
