CSL Bootlid price increase?

Thanks to those of you who have reached out to me to inquire about a trunk lid.

I do not charge retail, but these are not cheap. My cost is much higher than ECS/Turner which I suspect is why they aren't selling these, because at their price they aren't making any money. I don't make much on these either, I have a small shop that caters to a small core group of clients and that is the only reason why I went down this road in the first place. But when you factor in the time it takes for me to go the dealer inspect (multiple times) and pick-up, store, cover credit card fees and sales tax then these aren't a big "money maker" as some people are implying with their responses to my price. And I will not ship them as if you saw how poorly they are packaged from BMW you'd see it's a miracle they aren't all damaged.

I called my local BMW dealer today (Raleigh, NC) and they did confirm that there are 7 available. But the price is $4,045 plus tax - no thank you. Lol.

Well, if it's any consolation, you can get a slightly better deal at APMotorsports.

After the conversion rate and shipping it's $4,089.28 currently. It was around $2,900 a month or two ago.

CSL trunk lids, 41007895884 are available in the US, there are currently (7). I know because I have purchased (2) for customers in the last (2) weeks. BUT the big issue is that they have come in damaged from BMW often, so to get those (2) we've ordered (5) total.
