not when it is shipped/sold by amazon. In fact i asked CTEK if they would honor the warranty if purchased from amazon and they said they would !

I’m not saying this item is (or isn’t) counterfeit, but being sold/shipped by Amazon guarantees nothing.

This is probably legit, because the vendor is “CTEK”, but I would email them to confirm it’s a legit listing before buying.

amazon itself is an authorized dealer... many 3rd party sellers on amazon aren't

Personally I would skip both these options and just get the 7002 model that has 12v supply mode and a few other features for not much more money.

Nope, I have 3 myself and they've been great for 1-3 years at this point. Costco sale price is a great deal.
