only at 120k but man this thread is awesome, I think it has more to do with the amount of love and dedication that's clearly apparent

That is amazing. Just curious, was that engine ever rebuilt or all original?

I'm kinda cheating. Only the body has that many miles. The powertrain has ~100k miles.

I am on 152k miles, new smg system, new gearbox, motor was rebuilded fully 10k miles ago, also welded in a new rear repair part. Bought it 3 years ago from first owner with 135k, hope it would be ok till 200 or even 250k)

158k on mine. Still all around 175psi compression in every hole. Zero doubt it'll go well beyond 200k.

210K, runs perfect and does not burn 1 drop of oil between changes.

any tip for you owners over 200k? I bought at 181k but 113k on the motor and I always think about the longevity. Don't really care about the resell value but if I did and these cars are anything like the e30 I am sure we can still get a pretty penny even with 200k plus.

Seriously considering buying an Alpine White with 143k on it-- That's been highly maintained by a Porsche Mastertech/Race Car Builder. This thread gives me hope that I'm not crazy in thinking it'd be a good buy lol

It's probably nicer than most "low mileage" cars

Damn, I have a long way to go with 63.5k miles so far... glad to see these cars are fairly bullet proof with proper maintenance
