    Coilover Ride Height

I'm looking to see what everyone is running in terms of ride height for their coilovers from fender to center of wheel. I've done some research and it looks like 13" F and 12.5" rear is a common dimension. Car is mostly track orientated, still running the divorced strut/spring in the rear. TIA

I'm at 13.25" F and 12.5" R. No rubbing lock to lock with 275's on 10's up front.

Prior I was at 12.5" F and 12" R. It rubbed everywhere but looked cool when parked.

From what I read in the old comprehensive suspension thread, usually anything lower than 13.5" F and 13" R will negatively effect suspension geometry. Also, you give up some suspension travel.

Travel will depend on what setup you have, but ofc, lowering will usually limit travel. Ian professes 13.5"/13, but I can't remember where he got that from, maybe Dan? but then I don't know where it came from originally. Also remember that, unless you have CMP RSFB, if you had plates put in, your rear is already compromised by an 1/8"-3/16.

Ran the 13.5/13.0 combo for awhile, then decided to take it up a half inch all around because I was worried about bottoming out on some of the roads around here. Have been happy w the compromise and I -think- it rides a bit smoother.
