The brake bias will change only upgrading the front rotors, assuming you don't have competition rear calipers. I believe the general wisdom is that, rotors being wear items, it's best to just get blanks, especially for the track. The cross drilling is frowned upon, and the weight savings so close to the hub is pretty negligible. In my mind the fact that a set of all four blanks is much less than just two floating rotors seals the deal.
That said, the BMW euro floaters for the E36 aren't drilled, and I sometimes think they might be cool to get..But still, it's an enormous difference in price for very little gain. If you really want to upgrade I see a lot of good things about the Performance Friction rotors, but they're even more.Last edited by 01SG; 11-04-2020, 10:31 AM.
