ECS CSL Frt Brake Kit or BMW?

Any opinion on the ECS CSL Front Brake Caliper Brackets and Rotors vs OEM BMW?

The ECS ones are good, have had them on my car for 15k miles with autoX and track use, they work as expected.

Thank you. I am leaning towards ECS as well. I need front rotors, so might as well give the CSL a try, and the ECS kit is less expensive then BMW.

And? I mean I don't try to hide that fact, also if it was crap I wouldn't recommend it, I constantly tell people to go with different or better options than our house brand items.

The brackets and everything fit fine, and the rotor size increase is good, but the cost increase of the rotors im not sure out weighs the performance gain. But I also always say for anyone with ZCP brakes to buy rotors from FCP

The brake bias will change only upgrading the front rotors, assuming you don't have competition rear calipers. I believe the general wisdom is that, rotors being wear items, it's best to just get blanks, especially for the track. The cross drilling is frowned upon, and the weight savings so close to the hub is pretty negligible. In my mind the fact that a set of all four blanks is much less than just two floating rotors seals the deal.

That said, the BMW euro floaters for the E36 aren't drilled, and I sometimes think they might be cool to get..But still, it's an enormous difference in price for very little gain. If you really want to upgrade I see a lot of good things about the Performance Friction rotors, but they're even more.
