    Passenger airbag light

So I’ve had the red airbag light on since I swapped my seats for aftermarket Cobras. I bought a little emulator dongle as some suggested, but it doesn’t work. Not really a way to screw up installing that, so I have to assume it’s just not working. I tried clearing the code (occupancy sensor) with my Schwaben scanner, but it just comes back instantly. I have INPA, and haven’t tried that yet, though I imagine it’ll net the same result as the scanner. Anyone have another suggestion? TIA

You can code out the sensor with NCSExpert. There's a couple threads about installing and using it in the coding section.

Do you have the seat belt pre-tensioners installed? Was the light on with the factory seats?

I was able to program them out using PA Soft.

Yes, everything else is still in place, and no lights before the swap. I scanned all codes and the occupancy sensor is the only one.

I don’t have those other two suggested softwares, but I guess I should try to figure out how to get one. Which one is easier to use? I’m not completely computer illiterate, but I’m not exactly going to start editing hex either.

PA Soft is easier to use. Pretty much all you have to do is uncheck the box for the passenger occupancy sensor.
