FWIW sometimes it's better to buy one online even if it's a little more expensive. Hobbyists are always posting pictures of their huge Hot Wheels takes; there are ALOT of people who know when stores restock shelves and will wipe them out of any & all desirable cars that morning. It's frustrating - every time i'm in a big box store and go look, there's rarely anything good like M3's. Depending on where you live you could spend your whole afternoon driving around looking for one with no luck.

        yeppers.
They form a *Cough* rapport with a stocker at the store.
I found the blue car by chance at an auto parts store.

          Exactly.

Grocery stores and Dollar stores are actually great places to look that aren't as obvious. Often have better luck with those

I used to be into tchotchkes like this but one day I woke up and asked myself wtf am I doing. It's cool and everything but collecting these cars that have no use or purpose was just another burden to me.

Same thing as those who collect dunks, etc and don't wear. At least those can be sold though they're heyday is over I think. Nowadays I just collect car parts that will end up on the car instead of toys sitting on my shelf or collecting dust in a box only to be gotten rid of one day in the future.
