    Front Clip removal

Hey all, taking off the front end for an engine removal. Is there a "go-to" way to remove the oil cooler/radiator/assembly all in one piece?

    Thanks,

    #2
Quick summary is take off the bumper, remove the six nuts that hold the crash bar to the frame, disconnect hood latch cable, disconnect all electric connections (headlights, turn signals, fan, windshield washer pump, etc), unbolt windshield washer reservoir, and remove the two rubber screws holding the radiator assembly in place. This should leave the front clip attached by just the top four bolts. There's two on each side above the headlights. Remove those and it should come off.

Once that is off you'll have easy access to the radiator, condenser, and oil cooler. Drain all fluids and discharge A/C system and you'll be good to remove them all together.

I know this is a very brief overview, but once you start taking things apart it should become clearer. Let me know if you have any more questions!
