    Napa leather steering wheel.

I currently have a Alcantara Coby wheel on my car and I’m thinking of switching it up.

Ive been looking around online and found some good quality ones on eBay overseas.

Anyone have any experience with the one from this seller? Not sure yet if I want black stitching or the m color.

I've had my eye on that steering wheel for a while, I'd also like to hear from anyone else if they have any experience with it.

the thickness looks a little bit off (thinner) so do those buds, too sharp.

He has thicker wheels too. Not sure how I would feel about a thicker wheel in my e46. I have a thicker wheel fully wrapped in leather which came with my G30 5 series m sport and I like it on that. But that’s also a luxury car with automatic transmission.

We can probably contact them if they are family business and ask for a potential group buy. I remember there was a person of the old forum who was know for organizing group buys :-)

Generally speaking these wheels from Europe are pretty solid. I spot a couple very small wrinkles around the 9 and 3 areas but you'd have to be pretty fussy to worry about that. I got mine from Poland 4 years ago and it's still holding up real well with regular maintenance and care:

Napa wears pretty quickly on a steering wheel for my liking. I really prefer the leather that BMW originally used on these wheels, more durable, has more character, imo.

I do not know people wrapping it like that as it is a much thicker leather => more difficult to make it seat right. I was watching some video about restoring old cars using original materials and they were soaking and heating and soaking leather to make it seat right. Saying that I am pretty happy with the results I achieved wrapping leather myself using some eBay leather kit. Only problem I have is that as I was doing it first time and I got scared to cut grooves in the steering wheel (in case I wanted to get back to unwrapped) to hide the seams. May redo it one day.
Going back to the topic maybe we can message those eBay people and ask them if they can use different leather instead of Napa...

He can add padding, usually in increments of 1/8" at a time. It's worth it to add more, definitely gives it a better feel. Nappa won't wear as much if you have the motivation to wear driving gloves so it doesn't turn all greasy and shiny. I'm not into the greasy look in my car, so gloves for me all the way.

Wow. I love your interior. So clean and simple! The link I posted is from Poland as well so it may be the same place. Is yours the thicker wheel or the regular size?

mpower22 He makes thicker wheels as well. I like my steering wheels the way I like my women....thick in all the right places

Have you noticed how prices are going up? It started at low 300, now 400-450. Same happened with the guy from Ukraine was 350-400, now 700+

I got mine for $230 back in 2016!

Oh shoot sorry DropTopKingM3 didn't see your post earlier. No, the place I got it from had only sold a handful of wheels when I got mine but I just searched them up and they seem to have more wheels for sale. Seller name is remilux1
