I jumped on the SS Cyber Monday sale a few years ago. No regrets, but for the money you made the best choice. If I had not gotten 50% off I don't think I would have been able to justify SS over the tried & true Euro setup.

I spent $1100 on my Euro parts, it was good bang for the buck.
Its happening to me again with the Turner CSL box, now I wish I would have gone Karbonius. I am quite impulsive when it comes to ordering parts, I need to chill out!

i had been looking at replacing the sec2 to get a bit more sound, but was undecided and not really rushing it. with the SS 20%, the pricing is making me consider it. long shot but does anyone have this combination already? does anyone have any first-hand opinion of how the SS Sec2 sounds before and after with your current setup.

i know, seems like a very specific question, but doesn't hurt to ask. Thanks.

This is not a before and after, but it should give you an idea of what it will sound like with the SS resonated X-Pipe. It appears to be a Euro car with only the section 2 and 3 changed - Euro header and cats, SS resonated X-Pipe and loud muffler (SS Race)

Thanks for this. seems the Rasp is toned down quite a bit. For comparison, this is how mine currently sounds. Video was taken the day i got it installed so it's possible it has changed slightly after "breaking in".
i'm looking for something a tadd less raspy w/out eliminating it altogether. the rasp is something that i do like.

After doing some research, found a few threads that mentioned how the SS X-Pipe tones down the rasp into a "mid-range growl"...considering when going from US to Euro setup, i went from 2 resonators to 1, this is ideal. purchased it and hoping it makes the tone i was looking for. Thanks OP.
