Which dealer are you dealing with in Boston? I have to get my passenger side one done as well and have heard horror stories of the dealers in the Boston area which is why I'll most likely end up going to NH where a buddy of mine knows the service manager.

Several years ago, i took all the precautions and removed all the dash trim when i had to bring it in for the passenger recall.

I hate bringing the car to the dealer for anything so i wanted to make it idiot-proof.

Got my car back with a giant gash on my front bumper. Go figure. They had to foot the bill for a repair/repaint & clear bra. That was the last time i took the car to the dealer

I tried calling and email to get them to stop calling, emailing and mailing me shit. Then, I literally took a box with every cabin air bag in it, and asked them to mark me clear (it's a track car now, so literally no airbags are in the car and no control unit). They told me they couldn't get me off the list as it was only able to be done by "Nationals" OR if they actually remove and install the new one. I even said sure, you can do that, but then he said if any others are missing or the light is on, they won't touch it. Light isn't on, but no airbags are in the car. Oh well. I've come to accept the non-stop BS, but I am actually happy that I didn't have to pay to get rid of those airbags (mini explosives!)

I had mine replaced yesterday and one of the passenger side trim tabs was either broken in the process of this recall or the previous one. I would recommend removing the trim yourself so that the dealer doesn't break it.
