Ha! I actually (seriously) posted that question until I pm'd Cubieman and he (kindly) set me straight! I really had no idea they were that bad, they are apparently like Fabspeed in the 930 world.

I've only had Karbonius (on my 3rd one, due to swapping cars). Never had a problem, was always impressed by the quality. Always paired with an Evolve Alpha N tune. Heard great things about TTFS for tuning as well.

Seen some bad reviews by Streamline, but I think they've since corrected their issues. Given that this is a big purchase and the price difference isn't too much, I'd take Karbonius.

The streamline would be closer to the Geoff Steele one, and after hearing about how the streamline owner is shady, I'd go with the Geoff Steele.
Pretty sure the Evolve S54 airbox is NLA. But seriously, considering the price and quality differences, Karbonius is the clear choice.

I got my Evolve CSL airbox a couple of weeks ago...I think they’re just having supply chain delays from what I was told. But yea for me it was really Karbonious or Evolve depending on the design you’re interested in, sometimes you get what you pay for

Last time I looked, I thought the Evolve airbox was significantly more than the Karbonius. What's the difference?

I would think twice before going with the Streamline, or now known as Haimus Racing.

Holy Smokes.... That's insane. I was just watching his video last night of him installing it. Granted I think he has the early version with the non-CF trumpets. Could turn out to be really bad.

EDIT: Did some research and seems like it's happened once to an Evolve box as well as the updated Streamline one:

That's crazy! I just watched that video and was floored! I hope that guy's motor isn't ruined.

The only two airbox I would ever consider spending money on are the OE and Karbonius ones. Nothing else period.

Why on earth you’d buy anything else just to save a few hundred dollars is simply perplexing.

I actually have a Karbonius airbox as well as a Geoff Steele airbox and am equally happy with both. While the Karbonius airbox might look a bit better the few times my hood is open, the additional cost and time associated with getting one relative to the Geoff Steele airbox kind of level things out

Curious to see if any TMS V1 owners who were lucky enough to have decent units can share their experience? It’s only been out a short while but I’m interested to see how V1s have held up so far. My V2 preorder is shipping in February.

I would add evolve to that list. Quality part...

I wouldn’t simply because they use a bespoke air filter element that you can only source from them directly. It is an inferior filter also compared to the BMC.
