    This.

I had what I thought was 100 percent chance of an oil leak on the tensioner. It wasn't leaking. Turned out to be the lower left VANOS-to-head bolt. It was a fresh VANOS gasket, so we took the VANOS off, put a tiny bit of FIPG on that lower left area and it was dry ever since. Only way I was able to see it was with UV dye and an inspection mirror.

Not the left side - I said the right side.

Not on the haft moons but at the moon corners, and the vanos/head seam lines.

What’s the oil dye that people use to diagnose these leaks?
