    Rear oils

    While oil seems to be a good topic for everyone to discuss what is the most popular or the best oil for the rear when changing for Street use

    Are you talking about diff fluid? If so go OE. It's crazy expensive, about $150 or so, but definitely the best option.

      Another vote for OE.

      Only expensive once with FCP.

          Yeah definitely get it from FCP so you can make use of that lifetime warranty later on.

          This is the fluid, you'll need three bottles.

              All jobs done as diy - clutch, rod bearings, rear subframe rebush, vanos, headers, cooling, suspension, etc.

              PM for help in NorCal. Have a lot of specialty tools - vanos, pilot bearing puller, bushing press kit, valve adjustment, fcab, wheel bearing, engine support bar, etc.

                I used Liquimoly's diff oil for 5k miles with no issues. It came with friction modifier already at where it needed to be. I'll probably be switching to Motul for my next service.

                  Now i'm with Motul 75w140 FF Competition in all my cars and works great. Probably no difference or at least not noticeable compare to OEM (castrol) or Castrol anyways.

                    It probably holds up on the track better. Doubt in daily driving though. Motul is pretty much the pinnacle of regular oil. Then you start getting into stuff like the Joe Gibbs stuff. I think they may do diff oil

                      Well thanks everyone for the input
                      this morning I ordered OEM oil from FCP Euro about 20 bucks more for the three bottles then it would be from ECS but I guess if I keep her long enough it will pay off thanks everyone
