A sheet of paper towel didn't happen to get left in the oil pan before putting the pickup screen back in, did it? I know that sounds crazy, but bear with me...

Apparently its not a bad oil pressure sensor. I bought these rod bearings from FCP Euro. My Indy says the ".025mm (.001")" extra clearance on the bolts is probably what the issue is, and that the entire job has to be redone most likely. What do you all think? I am not eager to spend another $1500.

No good. Install an external pressure gauge to check for the actual pressure. Just remove either the oil pressure or temperature sensor and install the gauge to the same threaded hole.

Red Oil Pressure Light comes on when idling (right after rod bearing replacement)
Almost sh*t my pants when I saw this. Leaving cars and coffee this morning I noticed that a red oil pressure light popped up on the dash. Whenever I would move the car or take the revs anything above 1K RPMs the light would go away. Come to a stop and it immediately comes back on once the RPMs drop below 1k. My idle is around 900 RPMs once the car is warmed up. My oil is not low, it's actually fresh.
For more context, my rod bearings were done yesterday. We did the full FCP Euro kit and used the correct torque specs for everything and bolted the car back together perfectly. I'm taking it back to the shop tomorrow but I just wanted to know if anyone on here ever experienced something similar to this? I don't believe my oil pressure is actually low, but that a sensor got dirty or went bad sometime during the job, but I don't know at this moment. Picture below for reference
