    P54 Airbox Anyone?

    To be honest, I had totally forgotten that the P54 was a thing let alone these airboxes. Marked down 20%!!

      I never understood why they are listed at a discount with the words "limited qty sale" next to it. Shouldn't the price go up then
      And is it just the pic or do those trumpets look shaped different from the CSL ones.

        Not familiar with the P54, what makes it different?

          Race version of the S54. Bunch of things in the head are different, including the VANOS unit. It also runs off of some other ECU. There might be some differences in the bottom end as well, not sure.

          Edit: Oh and it has a stupid short rebuild interval, something like 5k km or so

            think he meant the airbox? looks like different trumpet opening shape more circular, probably length to.

              I meant both now I guess, hadn't known of the P54 engine period. I looked up some pictures of the P54 airbox and there are definitely a few differences, the lack of a snorkel being one and the trumpets for sure as well.

                Yep, I remember seeing pics of one yrs ago, and trumpets are def different vs. your std run of the mill CSL airbox. If I had to guess, they’re probably slightly larger & shorter to flow a higher volume of air for high rpm racing (i.e. more narrow rpm range).
