I'd not have seen them if they weren't in this section, so I voted to leave them.

it would be better to just have everything in its own dedicated section whether that's in another forum off the main page or in a sub forum from e46 or its own forum on main page with a link to it from the e46 sub forum....

If a vendor wants to post multiple group buys at once that are not always E46 specific, then they might need to post them in the subforum.

Should get 95% of the exposure of leaving it forever, with 10% of the cluttering of the main discussion forum. I'll also leave the redirects, so anyone that's been away for a long period and is going through old threads to catch up will still see them.

Now that I see it in practice, the new group buy section seems like a universe away from the E46 section.
I think making the group buy section a subforum of the E46 section would well serve everyone. While group buys may not be platform specific, 92% of the thread activity on platforms occur in the E46 section.'05 M3 Convertible 6MT, CB/Cinnamon, CSL Airbox&Flap, PCSTuning, Beisan, Schrick 288/280, SS V1's & 2.5" System, RE Stg 1&SMF, KW V2, CB PS, Apex EC-7R

How about keeping them in the main forum for a period of +2 weeks after the close of the GB .
This gets the visibility while it's open, adds a buffer period for late add-ons to participate in the GB (and possibly bump the discount tiers), and then de-clutters the main forum afterwards.
Where they get moved to, whether subforum within e46 section or within the FS forum doesn't really matter, imo.

Can anyone see the E46 group buy section? I can't find a link for it in the main E46 section.2002 Topasblau M3 - Coupe - 6MT - Karbonius CSL Airbox - MSS54HP Conversion - Kassel MAP - SSV1 - HJS - PCS Tune - Beisan - MK60 Swap - ZCP Rack - Nogaros - AutoSolutions - 996 Brembos - Slon - CMP - VinceBar - Koni - Eibach - BlueBus - Journal
