Parking Brake Handle

My car came with an AC Schnitzer parking brake handle. I liked it at first, but I’d like to replace it with an OEM one.

Is the parking brake boot attached to the parking brake handle, if so, is it fancier than a zip tie?

They're not attached, per-say, the boot is just at the end with a ziptie to hold it in place.

here is a picture of a naked parking brake with handle, you can see the end of the handle - if you pull up the boot you'll see the ziptie
