I tried that. The center is stuck to the LCA and the bushing seriously deformed when I tried the puller. If I had gone much further I think I would have torn the busing.
I just need these things to last until the Turners are off backorder.
They are supposed to be stuck to the LCA and must be replaced if removed. I managed to get mine off (emergency repair) just barely but it did ruin them, lasted long enough for me to replace a few days later. Unless you have to do a repair, wait, it can tear or come apart and then you can't go anywhere.
Insert a small flat head screwdriver, lift the rubber, stick in the straw of your favorite libation and give a little spray, repeat on opposite side and more as needed. The hipster bartenders will demand a fancy formulation but you just need something to wick under, so something like a WD40 works just fine.

Then 3 jaw puller is not for this job, but use a "2-bar" puller (for lack of a better name) with the 2 bars sliding along the arm and so the bars should pull directly on the inner metal ring instead of the outer aluminum lollipop.
There are other kits you can rent from other stores, but after having rented 3, I can say this is the only one that works. The piece that is 3rd from the right, in the upper right corner fits just inside the bushing and will push it out. I also used it to push in my new condor delrin replacements.
Hung the arm in a vice by the inner sleeve of the bushing and sprayed in some lube. Hammered the arm out a bit to loosen it up. Once it was loose I finished it up with the puller.
