    Dinan Supercharger - Gen1 or Gen2

So I am in the middle of rebuilding my supercharger and am stuck on which version of supercharger I have. I am not sure on which gen and trim it is and was wondering if anyone knows which bearing kit would be best.

    Here are some pics....

Hard to say for sure. You could try contacting Vortech to see if that is one of their serial numbers.

I did end up doing that and they said it was a V2 Si trim. I heard that Vortech purged old data but it seems they still had it.

If it is possible anyway, space and all.

Dinan used the V2s in their kits. I'm not aware of a difference between gen 1 and 2, but I'd guess it's gen 1 since this was all early 2000s. Vortech should be able to tell you.

A CSL intake would never work with a supercharger setup, as the supercharger changes the entire intake setup.

Now, I did have Karbonius make me a custom OEM style airbox, but even that doesn't fit with the supercharger, it's hitting the housing.

We're doing some car-guy stuff to make it fit, but even the OEM style won't just bolt on.

That's a bold and interesting choice for a F/I build.

Like I'd be shocked if that held up after some serious driving.

I don't see how it's really any different than the plastic airbox? 🤷‍♀️

What would you be concerned about?
