How much is the GT diffuser and what do the edges of fitment look like?

Not one photo of how the sides fit (this is critical in a diffuser) and they make you have an account to view the price. No thanks.

how long will this GB be available? I'd really like to do some more research on fitment and quality of this piece before I commit.

edit; saw it's limited to 20 spots rather than limited by time

I've found some really old threads on cslregister so at least the guy has been in business for a long time. NZ_M3 (maybe he will comment on what he thought back then, if he bought any) was on some of those threads and we all know he isn't one for junk so I'm going to take a chance but if it sucks then it will be the last GB I participate in. I'll just pay full retail and pick my parts myself as I've been doing. I'm pre-ordered on this group buy.

Of course most of what I've found concerning cabroproject is CF overlay so the fitment question isn't really answered.

Thank you. Looks like this piece is 440 EUR = 525.94 USD directly from his site http://www.carboproject.eu/epages/62915324.sf/de_DE/? .

However I don't see a paint code selection, since the group buy includes paint, is that where the value lies at 599?

found the website, looks like the GT diffuser is $716+ship after Euro->$ conversion. If it's supposed to be the expensive one, but this one is $600+ship, what am I missing here?

Did Karbonius ever make one of these, and how much was it? Didn't somebody have communication with them that they were trying to get an new mold made so they can produce another run?

EDIT; binary and I were posting at the same time. I found the standard CSL diffuser, $526 after conversion but it doesn't mention anything about paint.

I don't think this is a particularly super great deal but I'm banking it is better than happybuyitnow and it will be pre-painted saving me the hassle. The actual cost once in the cart in dollars is $547.70 (using google's current exchange rate) for the standard diffuser plus additional shipping, notice what I circled in blue in the screen shot.

Rene hasn’t updated his website for a decade nor his pricing. It’s all gone up.

I try to reimagine my own M cars and make BMW M owners life's easier in the process.

So if you bought one on his site he’d contact you asking for more $?

I'm with you. I've held off on buying a lot of trim pieces, euro or CSL bumper, the diffuser, and CSL trunk for when I get the whole car repainted. But the whole floor mat/CSL trunk thing and parts going NLA has started to freak me out and I might buy stuff just to throw it on the shelf. If this is a quality piece I don't have an issue paying the premium to make sure I get one, just trying to gauge my FOMO meter.
