    Needed to clean the ITB’s and ICV. While in there I decided to add a Streamline CSL airbox. Will be adding their snorkel with no flap. (Running my MAP Sensor kit and HTE Performance quarenTune) MAP sensor > alpha N compared to my previous M3. Will be putting the car on the dyno here in a few weeks.

      Please share more info on the Streamline CSL airbox. Is it a replica of the CSL? Source and price?

        Yes it’s a replica of the CSL airbox maybe they copied karbonious since that’s what they were saying back on m3f. Current boxes don’t have the bottom hole on the unfilter part of the airbox. This is bc the are making their own snorkel w/ no flap. Box does have a few flaws here and there but nothing visible since it’s under the airbox. (One looks like a clear coat run and it dried/others look like holes and dirt but I heard from other sources that it’s normal for carbon fiber to have those kinda flaws, so not sure) I ordered the box around Jan and was a bit delayed due to the whole covid. So far I have no big complaints other than the time it took to get here. Airbox does look amazing and pattern matches/flows unlike other replicas. Box is around 1250euro plus snorkel/shipping. ID:	25978 Vanos Line started to have a slow leak. Decided to replace with Rogue Engineering’s line. Took about 45min to replace. Took the old line out and realized that the RE line only had 1 mounting point. I could of gone to the part store and gotten an extra one but just left it as is bc there was no rubbing against the block. Probably BimmerWorlds line could of been better.

                Finally got a hold of a CPI Euro200R (I sold this piece to one of my friends 3yrs ago and after 2yrs I finally convinced him to sell it back to me ). Removed my Euro sec 1 and sold it within a few hrs. Hope to remove the bit of rasp I have, maybe gain some extra hp? . (Rasp wasn’t much but it was there)

                  Yesterday I installed my new strut bar from DMG. Got it with the “Pronounced heat signatures”. Also I installed my Streamline Airbox at the end of April (ordered in Jan) and they still have not been able to fullfit my full order. Missing their Snorkel. This was the only reason I went with them since I’m not running a flap and I didn’t see a reason to spend the extra money. Well it’s been almost 8 months now and since around May they have been saying “Next week”. Seen a few other members with the same problem. (After the post on IG he said next week, hope it’s true)

                    Just got back from a 7month deployment and was finally able to replace the old ST airbox (now Haimus Racing). Mine did not failed but I reached out to get a replacement and received it within a few weeks. New one feels/looks more sturdy that the previous version.

                    In a few months I will be moving and car might have to go. But either way it will get a few more goodies before. (Respray hood to remove some rock chips and will be going with a Euro front bumper)

                        Decided to get a Euro bumper before the prices do the same thing than the CSL truck did. Hood, front/rear bumper and roof will get painted. Decided against doing the fenders since there’s a minimal amount of rock chips (PPF helped). I was strongly advised to do it but wanted to keep them intact. Roof & hood had some bird poop damage and decided to get them repainted (ate through the clear coat). Also PDR the entire car. Trying to get it as clean as possible, approaching 65k miles.

                          As I mentioned on the previous post.
                          New euro bumper. Repainted hood, rear bumper and roof.
                          Came out great. Just waiting on paint to cure and then a full polish and ceramic coating.

                                At 69k miles the clutch felt like it was slipping around 6k+ rpm. Some found the fix by doing the relearn and bleeding the system, but no luck for me. Had some time off and decided to tackle the clutch/flywheel/compression springs. Opted for Sachs TOB and FAG pilot bearing since the ones from the Luk kit felt like they were going to fall apart. Also bleed the system and did the relearn using a Schwaben/Foxwell scan tool. Didn’t need to do other components outside of the transmission since most of the stuff has been taken care of.
