RPM does not increase automatically during Vanos Test (E46 M3)

    Hello,

I have a 2003 E46 M3 model converted from SMG to manual transmission.

I have completed the coding and wiring work, and the cruise control and rear parking sensors are functioning properly.
However, I am experiencing an issue when performing a Vanos test using diagnostic equipment such as ISTA.

When entering the test, the idle RPM should be raised up to 1500 RPM, but there is no response at all, and the idle RPM does not increase.
As a result, the engine stalls.

Every time I perform the Vanos test,
I have to manually press the accelerator pedal to raise the RPM up to 1500.

Are other converted SMG to Manual cars having the same issue?
Are there other people experiencing the same symptoms as me?
Can it be a problem with the coding?

If there is a solution to this problem, I would greatly appreciate your help.

    Thank you.

Check the idle target during the Vanos test. Is it 1500 rpm ?

Is there any way to check the idle target rpm? When I click on the link, it just goes to the YouTube channel and I can't see the contents...😂
