SMG to MT Programing

Hello,

I recently bought an e46 m3 that was converted from SMG to Manual 6 years ago. I am having AMS Auto group re-check programing just to be safe.

However, my concern lies in the future. I have a lot of things planned for this car and one being a tune. I am looking at the B-Spec tube. Would having conversion cause any issues with tunes in the future?

Any input would be appreciated.

None. If done right the only difference between a SMG and 6MT car is the vin. The DME, coding, sensors, and everything else are all the same.
