Any track cars run a 2nd oil cooler in that duct RX8-style? I think I remember reading that bigjae46's car is basically oil temp limited down there in the Texas heat.

An option for sure. Might even be able to adapt the E9x cooler to work.

Would be interesting to see where to duct the hot air though. Under the car E9x style sounds fancy, but I'd be afraid of messing it up and introducing lift.

That is probably the easiest and best way to add a second oil cooler. Not sure where to vent the oil cooler to. Under the car?

I think the middle hood vent is helpful...with a gurney flap. The hood bulge is in a terrible spot if you want to retain it...which I do. I somewhat still care how it looks and how many dudes it will attract. I'd do a test but my local landfill...I meant track is closed for maintenance. I'll put it on the list for fall.

I have the same question. Ultimately, I want to make ducting to vent the radiator out of the hood...maybe as far back as the hood bulge. Then I can stack a large oil cooler on the back of the radiator to maximize cooling, aero efficiency, and minimizing weight (of course). This is the main reason why I started down this path of aero testing. I'm still in the early brainstorming stage and open to ideas..

Speaking of gurney flaps, I see that n15 doesn't sell theirs anymore. Did you guys just mount a tab at 90 degrees on the front of the vent? Would angling the first tab at 90 degrees achieve the same effect?

              I just used aluminum L 1/4" x 1/4".
