Haha it sure is! I didn’t say it was a good deal or anything, just that they don’t come up for sale much anymore. I’d get a karbonius for half the price personally.

That one's been on fleabay for some time now if I recall...has some sort of damage to it, and the person still wants $5k...world has gone mad

The guy who has this airbox currently was a member on the old forum and he bought the main section for way less than it is listed there. Even though the main section is brand new, the very unfortunate issue is the previous seller was not able to locate the matching unfiltered section. The previous seller took the part in as an exchange and they did not know or care what it was. My guess is the shop/owner that bought this part way back either lost the unfiltered section, never received it or it got misplaced during a move.

The unfiltered section for this airbox is impossible to find at this point. They were made in the mid-2000s for a German tuning company called Digi-tec and they did not make many of them to begin with. The filter element is also specific to this airbox - CSL filter will not work without modification. The original, damaged CSL unfiltered section that is on there was sourced from someone on Instagram. The cutout on the top is different and the bottom mounts with three pins which are not found on this Die Wethje airbox.

IMO, the airbox is still barely worth 1k as nice wall art. Anyone in their right mind would just order a Karb airbox or any of the other reproductions.
