    For Sale: Die Wethje pre-production / press car genuine CSL airbox

    Selling my prototype / pre-production CSL airbox.
    The airbox was installed on the official press car used for testing at the ring.

    I owned the engine removed from this car, to read more about this read my old thread.

    A long time ago, somewhere in 2002, BMW invited a group of automotive journalists to try out the new M3 CSL prototype by means of a few laps around the Nürburgring GP circuit. These prototype press cars featured a different shade of gray, no CSL trunk and the CSL seats upholstered in M-Texture as pointed out once before on here


    I have since sold the press car engine, it will be going in an E30, so it was sold bare without the airbox.

          They would be pictured if so, I never had the other half, likely got lost when BMW removed the engine unfortunately

                    It is OEM. Can't be more OEM than this.

                    Tough time to buy stuff from Europe right now in US, with tariffs and general FX rates. But cool piece, OP.
