    I bought Enkei NT03+M

    18x8.5 in front
    18x10 in rear

Looking at Michelin Pilot Sport 4S for this.

Sounds like Ill be going the 245/275 route.

You know what would be interesting is if you ran a 245/40 and 285/35. The circumference is the same difference as a 245/275 except the 285 is larger (meaning less likely to trigger the DSC). The reason for this would be to get the exact same tire stretch in front and rear. With a 245 on an 8.5" rim the tire face goes up vertically, and with a 275 on a 10" rim the tire face has a slight inward angle.

So I would consider a 245/285. Anyone see a reason to not do this?

This doesn't help op but 245/275 is my favorite combo and is a massive difference. When I had to run stock rims/sizes afterwards once the car felt like it was on ice by comparison then again no real surprise there.

I'd do at least the plus size route 235/265 if I were you.

Second this! Absolutely ZERO reason to run stock again. 235/265 work great on stock 19's. Question for this group will 245 fit on stock 19" wheels at 8" wide?

Most 245 tires are going to be too wide for an 8-inch wheel, those would be better suited for 8.5s or 9s.

dumb question but what what side wall size (ratio) should I go with with PS4's on 18 inch wheels, 35 or 40? Discount tire direct is having a great sale right now and was quoted $760 for (2) 245/35/18 and (2) 275/35/18...

But then I didnt know if this was too low of profile or if I should go with 40?

              Any input?

The tire thread sticky recommends 245/40-18 and 275/35-18

A 245/35-18 is almost an inch shorter than 275/35-18

I am debating on the exact same EC7 staggered setup for 235/245 F and 265/275 R

                      18x8.5 ET35 for front
                      18x9.5 ET22 for rear

I made a comparison with OEMs to check the wheel diameter. I found Euro CSL overall diameter is slightly smaller (641 mm) in comparison to north america competition ZCP (661mm).
235/40/18 & 265/35/18 will have smaller overall diameter, which means it has closer look to European CSL, but also giving about additional 10mm drop due to smaller radius [ (662mm-641mm) /2]
245/40/18 & 275/35/18 is somewhat between euro CSL and North America M3

I am more leaning towards the wider combination, but I have stock suspension with H&R sport springs (F -1.2" ; R -0.5"), so I wasn't sure if 245 / 275 combo will rub with my stock camber setting.

I like to have as much sidewall as possible, so not really a fan of 235/265

Any downsides running 245/265 as e92 has from factory? May it be a tad more neutral than 245/275?

Might trigger DSC and be more intrusive. More of a stretched look on 9.5"+ wheels. Slight less comfy maybe.

I used to be a proponent of 235/265 as it's a little faster (mechanical leverage) and lighter, but was glad to be back on 245/275 recently. I like the meatier look a lot more too.

If you drive with DSC on, you won’t like it.

Got rid of those mega heavy ZCP/CSL wheels for some ARC8? Such a massive difference.
