For what it’s worth my experience is almost opposite. I run pss10 on full soft and find it comparable to stock if not a hair less harsh. The best thing I can say about the kit is that it is incredibly settled. Hit a bump on the freeway and it’s one motion then settled. I did turn up the damping once and turned it right back down after being jiggled over a smooth road.
Also, how coilovers "feel" will also be dependant on the alignment. Often times shops will add camber and negative toe on lowered cars as they assume high performance driving. It will feel very different than stock and highway driving will feel hectic with an alignment change.
I'm not a huge fan of the Ohlins R&T due to their rebuild intervals - but I can see the value. It's a very high quality bit of kit. I haven't reached out to them. If you guys have interest, I can try!

I'd be very interested if Ohlins R&T were added as an option. Specifically the preassembled kits that 3dmmotorsport sells that include camber plate options and front strut spacers. Maybe you could try reaching out to them and see if they'd be interested in supported a group buy?
Not a huge PSS10 fan due to the amount of work/cost associated to convert to linear springs. But they are a great street option imo.
Great job organizing these btw.

I'll give it a shot specifically for E46 guys. The B16s are very popular in E9X and E60 world.

Thats a great price. I would sell my PSS9 and buy these new if they weren’t basically the exact same thing.

Can we get a feeler for Karbonius CF interior trim? They are now NLA so a final group buy could be big!!
I have a test set coming in from Karbonius Monday

suggested DFV rebuild interval from Ohilns
- 30 hours track driving
- 37k miles street driving
i wouldn't say that's conservative since their track driving spec is a maximum time between rebuilds
not sure how this compares with bilstein since i haven't heard seen any suggested intervals from them officially
fwiw i'm running TCK SAs (they use custom valved konis) with at least 60k mixed driving on them with no issues. i've contacted them directly about potential rebuild and they said dont bother unless there's an obvious leak or degradation in performance.
