Also, running -3 front and -2 rear is pretty ridiculous, on top of your slammed height. Tire wear, handling characteristics, ride quality, etc. I mean, damn...how many sacrifices are you willing to make for these wheels??

For reference: I ran a 10.5in +22 wheel on 275s (TE37) in the rear with a touch over -1 camber. Never rubbed. That was pretty maxed out IMO regarding looks and functionality. Can't even imagine going with a +12, esp with your settings.
Your response is mostly correct. But the camber specs he mentioned are not bad. I run -3.2 and -2.25. No tire wear issues, drives fine. Handles awesome. If you want to run larger wheels you have to throw some camber in especially if you want a square set-up and dont want to run massive spacers in the back.

As is yours. There is no way you are not having uneven wear with that much camber front and rear. And we'll just agree to disagree with the handling characteristics. As clearly evident in this thread, taste, 'handling' and 'drives fine' are clearly subjective. Tire wear is not.

This. The only way can you get more room is to "cut" the inner lip and then re-weld the two pieces together..or just leave it to rust I guess. Either way, while it's annoying that big lip is there it's much better than the alternatives.

I tried running a 18x10.5+12 with a 275 tire and I didn't make it out of my driveway - it was rubcity.com with a lowered car. Looked great though... I have a buddy that runs the same setup and it sorta works but he is much closer to stock ride height and it still rubs on compressions.

I'd argue it doesn't. Wheels have been poking out further and further over the last decade or two. I don't know what possesses people to try and squeeze the lowest offset/widest wheel possible at all costs on their cars.

I guess my only solution is to get a 265 or 255 and raise it up a bit too. Maybe add a bit more rear camber. I’ll have to see how things go.

I get rubbing on my 10 +22 with 265 in hard cornering.

I too think it is very aggressive. I run a 285/30/19 +25, I have my TCKs dialed ‘up’ to avoid “tuckinkg” the rear wheel. There is effectively a 1/2” gap, height looks almost stock.

                      Interesting.
-3 plus rear camber with normal wear??
                      what toe settings?
Is the car driven in wet weather?
I'm at factory spec and have significant inner tread wear at the rear.

I’m gonna be getting an alignment soon so I’ll let y’all know what the specs will be

Never got that alignment as I said bc lazy lol but I downsized from a 275 to a 265 Yokohama Advans and raised the rear about half an inch and I’m somewhat pleased with the look, my only issue is that the rear right is sitting lower than the rear left even when I measured everything exactly. Maybe it’s a sign that a bushing went out?

There's a guy in the bay area called The Rub Doctor who a lot of people go to. I dunno how similar the rear arches on e46 are vs e36, but I had my inner lips trimmed off and sealed which gives you like maybe 10mm of extra clearance without affecting how the car looks from the outside.

That’s basically who I was talking about with my initial post lol. I asked him if he was able to do it but his only suggestion was either go with a 255 or wide body

I would listen to him, he knows what he's doing.
