Can I use new rockers with old cams

So when the PO of my car changed to Schrick cams, he did not change rocker arms. About 50k or so miles later, 3 of the rocker arms became flattened and the car developed a loud tick/tapping sound. So initially my plan was to replace just the damaged followers, but I ended up buying a new set of 24. However I'm not sure it would be wise to replace all 24 as I know cams/followers wear together, and I don't want to damage more brand new arms. Basically my question is if it's okay to use new followers with used cams, or not suggested. FWIW I had the cams looked at by a shop and they said they're okay. Appreciate the help in advance.

No choice on those 3 rockers, that they need to be replaced with new ones. The others if fine after 50K miles then they are matched to the cam lobes and so just leave them alone.

Yeah I planned on replacing those 3 regardless. Just wasn't sure if I should replace the other ones as well, or leave them be.

280/272. Two of the lobes on the exhaust cam have a bit more wear than usual, but a well known shop told me that they would be fine to run.

I am wondering if I just bite the bullet on a new exhaust cam and toss in all the new rockers as well, or replace the 3 damaged rockers, hope for the best, and if things go south again, then open it up once more and then replace the exhaust cam + all rockers.

So I ended up replacing only the damaged ones instead of all 24 as the exhaust cam had a bit of wear on it, and I did not want to pair the worn cam.with new rockers. I started it up yesterday and the car sounds and runs awesome with no weird noises. If I run into issues in the future, I will replace the exhaust cam and all the rockers. I was going to sell the rockers, but I'll hold on to them for a bit as I'm sure they'll get pricier and harder to come by as everything is these days.

The term "rocker" isn't exclusive to pushrods.

Underside is fine as it only makes contact with the valve shims so it doesn't have an uneven wear pattern.
