Dove was never offered on the e46, it's just light gray or gray.

For me personally, even with my collector's hat on, I'm not seeing it for anywhere close to that. 2001, grey interior, sunroof, and non zcp (obviously). For looks I prefer the 19s over the 18s. The floormats are black and grey came with grey floormats (for that price it should have correct floor mats). On the plus side all original, lsb, and manual.

          $75k, no more.

We don't know what this sold for as the winner bailed and the next highest bidder took it for an undisclosed amount:

          Second highest:
Bid for the chance to own a 14k-Mile 2006 BMW M3 ZCP 6-Speed at auction with Bring a Trailer, the home of the best vintage and classic cars online. Lot #23,087.

              Why not?

EAG stopped listing their e46 prices. They have a 2002 Estoril, same interior as this LSB. They are also the same EAG that said they would only sell LCI cars, but times change and inventories dry up.

I’d be curious to know what they want for their Estoril, could be a good comp.

Years ago on the old m3forum, someone posted a video of Doug Demuro reviewing a low mile e46 m3 and a lower mile e39 m5.

Edit: here is the said video https://youtu.be/K8h-hZouHZk

Anecdotally, I've noticed the gray interiors aren't able to command as much of a premium. So this price seems far-fetched

Don't understand why people want prices to raise unless they want to make a buck on their M3.

Why wouldn't you want anything you own to go up in value???

Because it makes it more expensive to actually use, and replace if needed? I bought mine to drive, and having to worry about it as an “asset” that gains value each year is annoying. I have brokerage and retirement accounts for that.

I guess that depends on your car's specs and miles. I don't mind if the prices go up a little, so I can use it for ''free'' for a couple years. Maybe I'll try to keep this one for longer though. And I mean they are still affordable and parts plenty available so we aren't near any kind of huge increase in ownership costs. Parts are more expensive than let's say 8 years ago for sure but still reasonable.
Maybe insurance costs could go up if you have it appraised at today's market.

2002 Slicktop with 64k miles, I am ok with my car being valued at $20k since I didn't buy it to have an asset. I love the car I have and I have been in an E46 M3 for over 10 years, values going up only makes it more expensive to keep my car and I want to keep it since I love driving it. Prices of used S54 engines already went up significantly and it will only get worse with the values going up further.

I don't want E46 M3s to become the next E30 M3s, E30 M3s are rarely enjoyed, people park them since they are now an "asset".
