    Disconnect Passenger Airbag

What is the easiest way to disconnect the passenger airbag?

    Disconnect or disable it?
To remove: remove the fake wood trim across the dash, remove the right most air vent, reach in to remove nut/bolt hold the dash cover, then the airbag module is right in sight.

I want to have a passenger in the car over the weekend, it is now mostly put together but I have yet to address the airbag recall (I hope to schedule something tomorrow).

I guess I want to temporarily disable it. What is the easiest way to do that?

Someone else was asking this on another forum. I don't have my own picture (so excuse the blurriness, because that's just what I found online) but I believe you could just disable the seat occupancy recognition, then it won't go off (circled in red). You could also uncheck IC3 as well I suppose. These are done through PA Soft

I actually think the logic works the other way. If you disable the occupancy sensor then all the airbags will go off in the event of a crash.

Ah right, that would make sense, my mistake. I guess you'd just have to uncheck IC3 then
